This unit has been bench tested by an FAA certified repair station and it comes with an 8130 single release dated 5/7/2026.

• Rectilinear Needle Movement: Features perpendicular, flat-tracking deviation bars rather than older pendulum-style needles. This design keeps the horizontal and vertical needles intersecting at true right angles for a more precise visual readout during ILS approaches. 
• Integral Mode Annunciators: Equipped with built-in, backlit text indicators on the faceplate for NAV, GPS, and BC (Back Course) or VLOC status, reducing the need for external remote switching panels. 
• True OBS Course Resolver: Contains an internal resolver configuration that transmits Omni Bearing Selector (OBS) feedback directly to the connected GPS or navigation receiver. 
• Invalid Signal Flag Shutter: Automatically drives the deviation pointers completely out of view when incoming data signals are weak or invalid, reducing the risk of tracking faulty guidance. 
• Optimized Display Glass: Built with an anti-reflective, non-reflective lens and adjustable internal lighting to preserve pilot visibility during night operations.
