This unit has been bench tested by an FAA certified repair station and it comes with an 8130 single release dated 06/03/2026.

• Pneumatic Pressure Sensing: Functions purely mechanically via an internal aneroid diaphragm capsule and precision gear train. It operates without requiring any aircraft electrical power, making it a critical failsafe indicator during total electrical system failures.
• Three-Pointer Display Architecture: Utilizes three distinct overlay pointers (10,000-ft loop, 1,000-ft needle, and 100-ft pointer) to provide high-resolution altitude tracking across its entire 20,000-ft operating limit. 
• Kollsman Window Calibration: Features a high-precision barometric adjustment knob that moves the scale markers and pointers in unison. This allows the pilot to input local altimeter settings to compensate for real-time changes in atmospheric pressure. 
• Glance-Optimized Visibility: Housed in a durable, black thermoset plastic casing and typically equipped with anti-reflective glass. This reduces cockpit glare and pilot fatigue during high-altitude night or instrument flight rules (IFR) operations.
