L3Harris Trilogy ESI-2000 Electronic Standby Indicator

This is a digital standby instrument configured for fixed-wing aircraft and features a grey bezel. It replaces traditional electromechanical standby gauges by displaying attitude, altitude, airspeed, and slip/skid data on a single screen.

Description

This unit has been bench tested by an FAA certified repair station and it comes with an 8130 single release dated 7/21/2026.

Key Technical Capabilities

  • Consolidated Standby Data: Merges critical flight parameters—including pitch/roll attitude, altitude, airspeed, and slip/skid readouts—simultaneously into a single digital presentation to streamline pilot scanning during an emergency transition.
  • Failsafe Internal Power Source: Equipped with a built-in emergency backup battery pack engineered to keep the entire display active for a minimum of one hour following a complete airframe electrical or generator failure.
  • Fully Independent Telemetry: Operates with its own integrated solid-state air data computer and MEMS attitude sensors. This insulates the instrument completely from the aircraft’s primary electronics stack, keeping the data uncompromised.
  • Magnetic Heading Adaptability: Built to interface seamlessly with an optional external remote-mounted magnetometer to inject live magnetic heading data directly onto the standby glass card.
  • Rapid Initialization Alignment: Features state-of-the-art solid-state internal components that allow the horizon and flight displays to fully stabilize and align for takeoff in less than two minutes from startup.
