Collins Aerospace DCU-3010 Data Concentrator Unit

The Collins Aerospace DCU-3010 Data Concentrator Unit is a remote-mounted avionics processing module designed for corporate and regional aircraft. It acts as a central data clearinghouse, collecting analog, digital, and discrete telemetry from engine sensors and auxiliary airframe subsystems. It translates and packages this data into standard digital streams to drive primary flight deck electronic instrument systems (EFIS) and engine indication and crew alerting systems (EICAS).

Description

This unit has been bench tested by an FAA certified repair station and it comes with an 8130 single release dated 7/21/2026.

Key Technical Capabilities
    • Centralized Data Aggregation: Monitors dozens of isolated input parameters across the airframe, transforming miscellaneous analog sensor voltages, frequencies, and discrete switch logic into clean data.
    • ARINC Bus Multiplexing: Formats aggregated sensor telemetry into serialized ARINC 429 digital data streams for distribution to primary cockpit multi-function displays (MFDs).
    • EICAS Engine Integration: Serves as the primary collector card for core propulsion telemetry, processing variables like oil pressure, turbine temperatures (ITT/EGT), fuel flow, and rotor speeds (N1/N2).
    • Crew Alerting Logic Pass-Through: Evaluates real-time parameter thresholds to trigger discrete master caution, master warning, or secondary advisory messages on the pilot’s centralized alerting panel if a system moves out of limits.
    • Solid-State Modular Card Assembly: Engineered as a high-density, uncooled computational module designed for slide-in installation inside the main avionics equipment bay rack assembly.
