Collins Aerospace AHC-3000 AHRS Computer
The Collins Aerospace AHC-3000 AHRS Computer is a remote-mounted, solid-state flight attitude and heading processor designed for high-performance business jets and turboprops. By using advanced inertial sensors rather than older mechanical spinning gyros, this unit continuously measures the aircraft's dynamic movement across all axes. It processes these data strings to generate high-resolution stabilization outputs for primary cockpit displays, flight directors, and autopilot computers.
Description
This unit has been bench tested by an FAA certified repair station and it comes with an 8130 single release dated 7/21/2026.
Key Technical Capabilities
-
- Solid-State Sensor Matrix: Utilizes reliable Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) inertial sensors to measure angular rate and linear acceleration, completely eliminating spinning mechanical gyros.
- Integrated Heading Stabilization: Coordinates directly with external sensors—such as the Collins FDU-3000 Flux Detector and ECU-3000 Calibration Unit—to compute real-time, drift-free magnetic heading profiles.
- Dual-Axis Attitude Tracking: Delivers continuous, high-accuracy pitch and roll tracking vectors across a complete 360-degree range of motion, providing stable flight data during high-bank maneuvers.
- ARINC 429 Bus Distribution: Converts raw inertial data loops into serialized ARINC 429 digital output streams to instantly drive cockpit Primary Flight Displays (PFDs) and flight guidance computers.
- Rapid In-Flight Re-Alignment: Features advanced internal logic that allows the system to completely reset and re-align its attitude reference parameters while airborne if an in-flight power interruption occurs.
