This remote box is the muscle that drives your HSI heading card. It handles all the heavy gyro-stabilization work hidden away in your tail cone or avionics bay, syncing up perfectly with your flux gate to stop your heading display from drifting during turns.
Description
This unit has been bench tested by an FAA certified repair station and it comes with an 8130 single release dated 4/20/2026.
The KG-102A acts as the primary stabilized heading reference for your entire cockpit panel. It continuously takes raw magnetic heading data from your wing or tail-mounted flux gate detector, processes it via an internal high-speed electric motor, and outputs clean heading information to your HSI card and autopilot computer.
